The date for our Annual Cross Country will be Wednesday 31 March at Springbrook State School. This day is for all students in the school. Prep to Year Two will be racing first followed by fun activities. Years Four to Six run their races after the lower school, then will participate with fun activities for the afternoon.
The day will commence at 9.30am and conclude at 2.20pm. Families are also welcome to join for the day. Please see attached program of events for the day.
Please arrange your own transport to and from the venue. If your child is travelling with another parent, please ensure that the correct forms have been completed. Copies of these forms are available at the office.
Students will need:
- Full school uniform and closed-in footwear suitable for running.
- Navy wide brimmed hat.
- Packed morning tea, lunch and water bottle.
- Sunscreen.
- Any children with asthma will need to bring their Ventolin and use it before the race if necessary.
Springbrook P&C will be running a cash canteen and selling home baked goods on the day. A pre-order tuckshop form is also attached if you would like to pre-order lunch for your child.
